trunk problems

trunk problems I have an 02 TA and my trunk keeps sticking... as in I get it open and the damn trunk closure acts like it is stuck and it will not lock it back down. Has anyone else had this problem and if they know the solution on how to fix it please advise.
I think I have the opposite problem. Sometimes I would hit the yellow button inside. Hear the "kaplunk", walk to the back, !@#$ hatch still seems halfway locked. A second hit of the button usually does the trick.

To fix the issue with the hatch not always opening, I replaced the spring with a stronger one (3/4" x 2.5" spring from Home Depot).
