TA Nats changes I just got my newsletter and there are changes that are being discussed by members. Possible class changes for next year and a return to the Winner's Circle.
I am hoping for Tech Line standardization of counting mods.

I thinks that your mods should have to be listed on the judging sheets or a separate sheet and posted on the dash. It would only be necessary for the classes will limited mods allowed.
Dave it would take you and your class much too long to do this
I know for a fact that one guy in my class that trophied was in a higher class the past years and in 2005 he was in Class I and got a 2nd place. But this year they put him in class GG even though he told me and them that he had added some more mods to his car. He got a 2nd place.
His car was not the only one in my class that was teched wrong. One guy told us he added a bunch of stuff on his car after he was teched and before he was judged. I was toled they teched in 44 cars in GG.
Yes please bring back the winners circle.
I also think they should have judging on both Sat. and Sunday. If your car is ready to be judged on Sat. you should be able to get it done so you can enjoy Sunday. It would be your choice to pick Sat. or Sunday. I know I'm getting tired of having to rush to have my car ready 11am on Sunday after bring in the rain every year at cruise in Tipp City. I think more people would attend the cruise if they were not worried about being rained on and then having to be judged on Sunday.
Drive thru judging might be the way to go.
We went to a National 3 day show today with 1000 cars and they have Sat. and Sunday drive-thru judging with 2 lanes.

They tried the "honor system mod list" a few years ago. It was just a blank list that you had to fill in with all your mods. I think too many people "forgot" to list all of their mods, so it was only used that one year.

Bonnie--The Great Lakes Gathering was judged by you driving your car to the judging area when it was ready. I liked that. BTW--I got 1st plce there---instead of waiting 4 hours and de-raining my car every hour.
