Last weekend my friend decided to spin my 01 Trans Am out and put it into the median. Well anyways it knocked a chunk out of my rim and so my dad says I need a new one before I drive it or it could blow my tire out. So tomorrow we are going to a junk yard to find a new rim. I am just wondering if anybody knew what year models had my rims.

 

If your 'bird is a base model Trans Am, then you have several options....

--16" Chromed Aluminum 5-spoke '98-'02
--16" Silver-painted Aluminum 5-spoke '98-'02
--16" Silver-painted Aluminum "twisted" 5-spoke '00-'02 (possibly '98 & '99 too)

If your 'bird is a WS6 Trans Am, then here are your options...

--17" Polished Aluminum 5-spoke '96-'01
--17" Polished Aluminum "saw blade" (very low production) '00 only
--17" Polished Aluminum 5-spoke (curve in towards the wheel lip) some late '01 WS6 'birds & all '02 WS6 'birds.
