I have a 99 tran am and I'm runing 8.5-8.7 in the 1/8 stock.... what lid is best and will get me to 8.2 with a k&n filter I thought about SLP and MTI help me out here guys but come tax return I'm getting headers, stall, tune ect... my friend has all that stuff with a LS1 hotcam and runs high 11's low 12's like 11.97-12.01......

 

If I'm not mistaking aren't they all pretty much the same hp gain wise?

 

GM HIGH TECH tested a bunch of them and i think if i remember right slp was the best they were are pretty much the same but some would vary a few lbs/ft of touque but like zeke they are all same so any one you get will be fine
