Default Cleaned my MRM bird.

Well finally got a good cleaning done the other day. As much as the paint would allow though, no wash/wax for this one all thanks to Tex-DOT and Semi trucks and their free !clearcoat mod.

I mentioned it in the top of the post. !clearcoat meant I've lost alot of my clearcoat on the nose because of the majority of my 118K miles on my car being highway driven. There isn't a single bit of the road that I could drive on that didn't have construction going on at one point or another and alot of semi trucks that kick up gravel.

It's one of the biggest pains for me each time I clean the car as it's almost impossible to do anything with it

Nice color. I have to get mine painted also. It's not all too bad, but I don't like the chips and small pieces of clearcoat missing. Good luck with the paint job.

Don't know if I'm doing a paintjob I'm under pressure from my pop to sell the car after I replace the intake & plenum gaskets and get a new/certified used car. Looking at a SAAB 9-2x Aero (cleaner version of the WRX sport wagon).

I'm just getting both bumpers painted. After having my aftermarket hood painted and it match perfect, I'm doing the front bumper and a CETA mod on the back. I'll shoot the headlight doors as well. No need to paint the whole car. Both bumpers and headlight doors painted and matched = $350 through a friend of mine.

Cool, my dad does alot of painting. Plenty of $100K+ valued cars have been through his shops and have had nothing but beautiful results.

He's just so busy, and my car needs more than just the nose done. I had some ingrate back into me in a parking lot driving a loaner from a dealership. They didn't have insurance when they apparently told the dealer they did, and I'm running circles to get things taken care of.
