my problem is here i want to pick up a '98 ws6 that has no engine, tranny, driveshaft, interior, or glass. it's a parts car and i only have a single axle trailer that is 6'x12'. and i need to know appx how much such a thing will weigh so i don't trash the trailer traveling about 400mi.

 

borrow or rent one if you any doubts

 

You may want to check out the drag racing section just to see if anyone has car build-ups where they have gutted the car and thus would know the weight of a rolling chassis.
