Do all ls1 hawks have TRUE Duals, with two mufflers?

 

Nope. They all came with a single exhaust into a large dual outlet muffler. True duals were never offered on them. The '98 SS and WS6 had a single in, single outlet muffler with the one tip on the drivers side.

 

so no ls1 fbody at all has true duals?, i heard that hawks did that was another bonus for having one?

 

Firehawks came with SLP's high flow catback system worth a few ponies, with dual tips.

But no f-body ever came from the factory with true duals.
You might be confusing the dual tips for true duals....

 

No, None of the LS1 B-Body's had a true dual exhause system from the factory. Either the person who told you couldn't find enough reasons why a Firehawk is better or they know some people who have put a true dual aftermarket exhaust on their cars.

 

A lot of people consider dual exhaust tips as "dual exhaust"....especially the non automotive types. The floorpan wasn't designed for true duals especially for a mass-produced vehicle that's destined for all sorts of driving scenarios. You can put true duals on the car, but ground clearance is an issue for a lot of people. My 'bird has the TSP Rumbler X true dual system on it, but it's not a daily driver anymore so ground clearance really isn't an issue for me.
