Might I add, if you want to buy something that's worth some coin, get one of those 98 Formula WS6s or a Firehawk. Or even better one of those GMMG Blacbirds, a Mecham Macho, or Mecham Formulas and T/As or the Mecham GTR. Even the SLP Comp T/A isn't too bad of a car to get either.

At this point in time its hard to tell whether or not any of these cars are going to be worth anything in the future. We can sit here and look at what cars are considered highly valued such as the yenko camaros, 1969 original trans am's, original GTO's, Carol Shelby's vehicles...We just dont know at this point but we can make our best guess.
If keeping an american muscle car alive is what you want then get a shop or garage so that you can turn the key every once in a while and store the thing for ages to come.
If you want some fun and entertainment and the ride that will keep on giving, buy it and drive it.
Money is made through businesses.

I've been thinking about this for a while. I have a 99 T/A with full boltons, an aftermarket ram air hood and 70K on it. Of course I would love it to be worth lots of cash down the road, but I don't think i'll ever sell it. I'm really looking forward to the days when these cars are super rare which has already started to happen. I probably own one of 5 LS1 F bodies in my town. As far as appreciating values, I've kinda forgotten about it cuz my car is probably worth less than $10K (not to me tho!). The ones that earn the big bucks will be the guys that put hardly any miles on them and no mods. It's really up to the buyer, if they want a car that will appreciate in value, it's best to get an 02 with low miles and no mods. If ur a college kid like me with a limited budget, buy a cheaper T/A and mod it over the years. It also makes the car much more fun to own when you work on it yourself and make it faster.
