New 20" wheels w/305's Toyos

The door handles can be taken off/put on without removing the interior door panels. There's a good write-up even so look around, I can't find it for a link right now.
The window trim is a bit of a bummer, because like you said painting it isn't going to last. You can buy factory black ones, but unfortunately they're only on Holdens so you're looking at around $400 to buy and have them shipped stateside.

very nice! The only other thing I would do it black out the other parts mentioned (window trim/handles) and debadge it. It's one of the best looking G8's I've seen. Nice work.
Oh yea and ditch the chrome barbed wire license plate frame, I would use a plain flat black one like I have on all my cars.

I would like to read reviews on it or hear what other G8 memebers think about it before I make the investment. I'll have to do my homework and read up on it before I fork over 1.7k.

badass wheels, i do have to say that 19s on the rear with a different width tire would look better just IMO. they stick out a bit to far for me. love the blacked out look(as you can tell i would based on the pic under my username) enjoy the car, sounds like its gonan be mean once you bolt that turbo setup on

It's easy to take the parts off or at least the one's around the doors are, but the problem would be the paint sticking to the chrome. Even if you sand it down and make it rough for the new paint to sick any little rock would chip the paint and it would just start to peal from there. I might consider powder coating them if I find a paint close to the car's paint. The other thing that would be a pain would be the door handles. To do them right you would have to remove them which means taking everything off the door from the inside. All that = lots of work...lol I want to enjoy the car's setup the way it is and once I play it out for a while I might consider changing it to the all black scheme. Right now everyone thinks its an M5...

Traction is great went to the track last night and ran a 12.9 and I was cutting 1.9 60ft times at 31 psi. Nedless to say I didn't know that by going below the 31psi it would throw my warning light which in turn made me hit the rev limiter and would not shift smooth through the last passes. I know I could have gotten a lower time, but I'm happy being in the 12's.lol

I do want to lower the car but I want something that can be adjusted there for the air ride. For now I'm happy with the car I'll be getting some Mickey's put on my stock 18's and be ready for the cool weather other than that I'm very happy with the car. Oh just painted the calipers.
