You can fit, but if you are stock then you will rub.

I think it's a stretch to fit the 275 on a factory wheel. If it does fit on the wheel, I think you'll have some rub.

Can you physically put 275 tires on 8" stock wheels? Yes, but I don't recommend it. The edges will roll which means your contact patch will be less. Not to mention you'll have a good chance of rubbing unless you have drag bags or roll/grind the fender lip.

17s or 18s? I have 275s and I hardly ever rub but I do have drag bags.

I had 275 nitto 555extremes on my stock rear wheels for over a year before I changed to the tsw's. I never had any rub and I was daily driving the car at the time. I didn't cut my fender lips until I put the 18's on with 275's. The tires wore just fine and there wasn't any bulge in the sidewalls. I know a lot of guys here in Iowa that have run 275's on their stock 17's with no problems.

I have 275 Goodyears on my stock 17 chrome wheels, but I had the wheels widened to 9 inches.

Im with this guy I have ran 275's with stock suspension and have had 0 problems and no rubbing. My friend with the same thing as me had 0 rubbing also with 275's and the tread wore just the same as a 245!

I had Nitto 275 on for a year and they didn't rub. Nitto runs narrow compared to other brands. The tires bulged more than a fat girl in spandex. I went with 9" wide wheels and M/T 275. Had to grind the fender lips since M/T are wider even though they are 275 also.
