Default Stock cats with headers?

How much HP would I stand to lose? And is it even possible to weld coated headers to mild steel or whatever the cats are.

No money for high flow cats, need inspection sticker. Tried disconnecting the battery cable and was busted for it

I doubt you'll lose much to really notice anything, though now you stand to ruin your coat on the headers.

Thunderbolt high flow cats are $120 from performance curve for two and they sell them in ceramic (cheaper ~$80) or metallic core.

While they still look good, they're pace setters so I'm not to worried if it ruins then years down the road.

Thanks for the link. I'm fixing to order them. Muffler shop said the stockers would hang to low and after seeing up close the header outlet and stock inlet.

Looking at those cats it says the max. engine size in 5.9L

Is .1L going to make a difference?

Given my buddy runs it in his srt magnum (Hemi which is a 6.1 I believe) you're fine. Oh, and he puts down close to 550 to the wheels so you'll be fine.
