Default Audio Help

My speakers basically sound like crap. the rears rattle when the bass hits (even when the bass isn't up), and the fronts I'm pretty sure are blown. I have the bass at STD, treble at +6, and then set to the rear at +2 so I can avoid the buzzing from the front speakers. I do not want to replace the factory head unit. I do not want to buy any extra amps, etc. I just want speakers that I can install and go. I'm not a huge audiophile, as I prefer listening to exhaust, but I do want to be able to hear my music without buzzing and rattling. I want a little bass, but not pounding my brain out. Links to exact speakers would be great. Thanks!

Alpine Type R's.

Little pricey, but worth it.

And damn, ALL of your speakers are blown?

i'm not looking for subs, but I'm pretty sure they are all basically blown. With the bass down, they sound OK, but I need to turn the volume up to hear anything, and even with the bass down, I can still faintly hear the rattling

some 2 or 3 way pioneer's or jvc's from walmart will be cheap on the wallet and sound great in your car.

First choice Alpine Components TYPE R's or X's
Second choice Polk Components

They are pricey but work well!! I have old type X's and man they are so nice!

This spring i'm getting another set just don't know if I want alpines or polks guess Ill wait and see whats on sale!!

Good luck with choosing!
