BCM oops..

BCM oops.. So I need a little help. I just put an 06 Power door lock switch in the 05 GOAT, every thing pretty much works as it should with regard to the switch itself. But, now my courtesy lights do not come on when I unlock with the fob, or take the key out of the ignition, they do come on when you open the door though. Also when I lock the car, with the fob, I get three honks, like a door is open. I disconnected the switch completely, at the BCM, and I am still having this problem. 
If anybody has any ideas on what I could have F'ed up, I would be most appreciative!

Get in your car and roll your windows down just in case. Turn the key to the on position, and lock and unlock your doors with the center console button. make sure that both door buttons go all the way up and down. Turn the key to off and remove it. Get out of your car and try locking it again. That should get rid of it, assuming you do not have a bad actuator. I've had this stupid honking happen before too, and it was because my driver lock was stuck half way down.
