Also, I dont know if I quite follow the "lighter but bigger so I'm saving in rotating mass."

Yes, you may save a lb or two, but some of that is negated because a large chunk of the weight that you still have is now farther from the center of rotation, and as we know from the function of a lever, it will take more force to move the weight when its farther out.

I do love the look of those in 19's on your car though.

I saved 10lbs off each the front and 2lbs off each rear iirc. I don't think the movement of the weight out slightly is enough to increase the moment of MOI when you consider that overall I removed about 25lbs. Worse case scenario the MOI didn't change and I still saved unsprung weight.

Sure, I had the front and rear fenders rolled. Basically the lip on the fender that is parallel to the ground was bent up to be flush with the inside of the fender.

+50mm and +35mm refer to offsets. A wheel that stuck out 4.25" and went into the fender 4.25" from the hub would have a 0mm offset. Positive offset pushes more of the wheel out towards the fender. Negative offset sinks the wheels into the fender.

Here is a calculator that will illustrate offsets, play with inputting different offsets and you'll get the idea.

Yes, I just rolled the fenders and they fit. You could even go with a +45 in the rear instead of a +50 to push them out 5mm more and they shouldn't rub.

I see you rolled the rear fenders mine are rolled as well to make room for some big 20x9 +35 wheels.
shut I just noticed this is a 10yr old thread so you probably won’t get a response.
