wife let me drive her car today to work.on my way home ,i had a new 350z stop beside me at the last redlight leaving town.he was staring at the GTO and when the light changed he nailed the Z ,hit 2nd with a long chirp and then slowed down to pick on me.we ran them from about a 50 roll .even though i bumpedthe rev limiter in 2nd i still steadily pulled away from him.at 125 i was maybe 8 car lengths and pulling away.i didnt even realize i was running so fast.this was on a 4 lane divided hwy with very little traffic.man im not used to the quick revs and acceleration of the GTO since my daily driver is an extended cab z71..told wife about it,she just said as long as you didnt get a ticket it's cool............

Not surprised. Before I bought my 04 GTO I test drove a 2004 350Z Touring model with 6 speed. It was quick, but after I drove the 04 GTO I knew the 350Z wasn't fast compared to the GTO.
