The lovely marketing propaganda GM sent me a month after delivery said: " Equipped with the ZO 6 transmission." Very artistic and high quality enhancement though and free.

17" were standard, in Dec. 2004 the full price was $19,300. Just because the 2005 LS 2's had arrived the 2004 LS 1 was sales poison. Happily

109" wheelbase Monaro/GTO morphed eventually from a 55/45 weight distribution to the ~119" wheelbase Caprice with a 50/50 front to back and side to side. Huge improvement.

Humble import outperformed every other 2014 cop car available from any manufacturer. Three years ago this one cost me $8,100.
Today it produces faster lap times than my 2014 Z/28. Unfair comparison really, the Z/28 has over a hundred horsepower less, and 11' wide wheels can't compensate for it's front weight bias..
