Default Help

Guys, I'm at a crossroads here. My wife works for a finance company and has many associations with many dealers. One of them has a IBM 6sp on the lot and just wants to move it. He told me over the phone that he would sell it to me for 24200.00. I have loved the new GTO's since I first saw them but I also love my Z28. I haven't driven a new Goat yet and I know that that is what I should do and then make my decision, but gosh at that price it will be really hard to pass up. How many of you come from an F-body to your GTO? I'm aware of the differences in driveability between the two cars but I haven't experienced it yet. I wonder how much different the car feels not only under acceleration but also handling with the extra weight over the F-body's. Shoot me some opinions, Thank you!

I had a 2001 WS6 and i went to a GTO the ws6 handled awesome maybe a lil better than the gto maybe becuase of smaller tires and added weight. But the gto rides like a dream compared to the fbody it bangs and raddles a lil less. The whole car mean the gto in my eyes seens to be built better. The best park about it alot of people that see my car think its a front wheel drive 6 cylinder so its a major sleeper just what i like. But when you get on it they will know its not a sleeper even with the stock exhaust.

I still have my ws6 convertible and a 2004 gto. The gto is one hell of a nice comfy daily driver. I absolutely love it. Build quality seems excellent, the ta looks meaner and is faster, but the gto is a blast to drive and handles great. Great ride too.

We found very little performance difference between the GTO and our 2002 Z28. Otherwise the F-body seems like junk in any other comparison. Build quality appears to be flawless. The interior is as nice as any Cadillac we have owned. Every feedback behind the wheel is coordinated and sophisticated. The exterior wins the "least likely to be keyed" award. I am more impressed with every mile I drive it. At these prices, the GTO is the steal of the decade. Go get yours now so you won't have to cry in your eggnog on Christmas Day.
