Using the 05 scoops

Using the 05 scoops Why have scoops if they don't actually go anywhere or do anything? What would be the better use of that space on the 05 - CAI or engine bay venting? Water could also be a factor in determining what to do with them, don't want to go hydrolocking the motor in a rainstorm or getting the electronics too wet. Let's throw around a few ideas here and see what we can come up with other than just a pretty damn good looking hood.

I've thought of fabbing up a small piece of trim to put in the backside of that so the air hits it and goes down instead of catching the opening and being thrown around inside.
Other then that, you could fab up a piece that will move the air to the air box. That's how a scoop I saw on an 04 at a dealership up here was done... but I didn't get any underhood shots of it.
