Does anyone know the resale value of these cars? Right now, my car is worth about $9000 private party, though a different make. It is 7 years old with 95K miles. My buddy told me that the resale value won't be s**t 5+ years down the road since sales of these cars seemed to be low.

 

Doesn't matter how it sold originally. There are lots of cars that nobody wanted when they first came out that are now going for big bucks.

I don't really care about resale since a car isn't an investment, but I expect resale to be okay. There are only 40k GTOs, people love to crash them, and the car does have a pretty big following. In 5 years there might only be 30k left.

 

Very true. I mean, if you take good care of it, then there shouldn't be a problem.
