Intake

Hello I was wondering what the difference is between the 04 and 05 Intake systems? Because they are like 70 dollars different in price. Will an 05 work in an 04? Thanx

I asked this same question when I was shopping for an intake. They all said no. Not sure exactly why, but I know the throttle body is a different size. Someone else may know exactly why.

LS2 (on 05 and 06) has a 90 MM TB
LS1 (on 04) has a 78 MM TB. There are some minor differences in the location and length of the intake tube and airbox setup as well. Just enough to make it an aggravating and expensive proposition.

don't forget the difference in MAF size as well

I not sure about the size thing because I put a 06 tube on my 04 and every thing fits great.
