A friend had a short stick on his '99z28 (which was a SLP I believe) and he was getting rid of it as he bought a UMI so a friend cut a 1 3/4" out of it welded it back up and threw a Hurst Ball on it. Actually feels really good, I would say its comparible to a Lou's SS.

 

hmmm, thats different...i have heard of the pro 50 or maybe it was an SLP? from f-bodies fitting the GTO with a little modification. figure out which one it actually is, i would like to know.

btw, i think it would look better if you brought the boot up higher on the rod

 

The was a SLP short stick before the we modified it...

 

so is it a new SHIFTER or just a new shifter rod?

i have the stock shifter in my car but with a lou's short stick installed

 

Its just the stick, bolted it to my stock "shifter."

 

hmmm.. well i didnt know it would attach to the stock shifter. it pretty much looks the same height as the stocker just threaded. if so i would look into getting a LSS like myself if you dont ming or like the stock throw but ant to impove it a bit. not only is it shorter but is angled towards you and is available to fit the stock **** or an aftermarket one

 

Looks like an old MBA ****. Too bad they are not in business anymore, they made great stuff.
