headers???

i have an 06 GTO and im just trying to find out what would be the best headers to put on my car. one of my friends told me that SLP would be the best cause it has the best air flow but i just want to know my options before i jump into buying it. so what kind of headers would you guys recommend?

If you have the money you cant go wrong with Kooks, Stainless Works, or American Racing. If you are trying to do it on the cheap go Pacesetters. SLP would probably be my last choice.

Kook's headers. I hope they are a sponsor here, Maryland Speed was running a special, if you buy Kook's LT headers and mid pipes, they give free coating.

I like my Kooks 1 7/8 Headers and have installed SW, Kooks. SLP are by far the easiest to do. If your going 1 3/4 then your really not going to see a big performance difference between the two.

i just got my kooks signature stepped headers and from what ive heard and seen these are the best headers for gtos.

I love my Kooks,

I would consider SLP to be "middle of the road"

stay away from anything that's not staneless (like pacesetters)

Just put kooks with catted mid pipes and love it. Got rid of 90% of the droning since im an auto, and got rid of some raspy parts in the rpm band.

A good friend of mine, Ls7 Junkie, when he had his M6 GTO, he installed the Kooks on his car, from the portion that I helped, everything went very smoothly for such a job. I would recommend them after that experience. Also the difference horsepower you felt even without a tune was amazing.

Kooks!!!! Definitely the best fit. I know people that had bad luck with Stainless Works and Pacesetters fitment.

this is what I'm running on my car with absolutely no issues at all. Other than pricing, any good or bad about these?
