Need help organizing what to do for LQ4 swap! I am looking for a low mileage LQ4 out of a 2500 truck, what year should I look for so it will hook right up to my 2002 "Monster" 4L60E transmission?
I hope to get 450hp+ all N/A out of the 6.0
Plan to get new heads, cam, intake, ignition coils, spark plugs/wires, valve covers, and replace stuff such as the water/oil pump, cam retaining plate, seals, sensors, etc.
What else should I look into getting?
Need help on the cam, I definitely want to hear the cam at idle and NEED the torque/power to move my 40" tires.
Which heads with what springs?
What intake?
I'm new to this engine performance thing although comfortable with turning a wrench. I've been a technician for 3 years and went through schooling although I have a lot to learn. Thanks for all of the help with this build in advance. I will post pics throughout the building/swap process!
