#2) It has to be beneficial to the sponsors, i.e. serious drag racer or show car that gets their name out to their targeted customers. So it might be a good idea to tell the sponsors why you are worth their time.
#3) Generally, if you don't hold up to the sponsorship's criteria or agreement, they can charge you full retail for the product that they gave to you.
#4) Media Coverage - I know for a fact that Corbeau (seat company) asks what media coverage you will be in.. magazines... articles... car shows... ect.

First, I would recommend checking out local shops. Tell them what you have to offer them in terms of getting their name out there to the public. Second, I would try sounding more professional in your post and when you talk to shops.
