What to do? 4 point harness?
What to do? 4 point harness? I've had Corbeau CR-1s in the car since last summer but it's not a DD so it's not a problem, but I have a set of Corbeau 4 point harnesses and a set of Takata ones I got free from a friend.
----The harness bar question has been beaten to death, but are there any out there? Or should I just go with a 4 point cage, or how should I mount these? When all is said and done with the car it is mainly going to be a autox and trackrat as well as a garage queen.

i have a harness bar in mine. they work just fine, provided you can find them. the LG/G2 bar has been out of production for a long time. youll have to look for a used one on this site, or racing sites like FRRAX.com. i had mine made by a sponsor here.
a cage of course is some safer, and if properly done, will add to your structural rigidity. at least a full 6pt will, a 4pt wont do as much. if you dont mind cutting up your interior and welding to the body/frame, id say get the cage. the biggest bad point about it is, if you ever sell it, it could be harder to sell with it if left in.
i would cage mine, but i dont want to do anything so drastic as that. nearly everything ive done can be put back to stock in a weekend. not that i ever will, but in 30yrs i want her to be able to be orginal again.

well when i put some new carpet in the car this year I found a little surprise. Whenever I had put the car on the lift at work I always wondered what this hole was, looked as if the previous owner had ran over a javelin or something of that sort. When I got the stock carpet out I found a lot of damage that had been repaired by a 5 year old with play-dough. But whatever the a-hole ran over sheered through the passenger rear area. The car aligns perfectly and it handles awesome when I autox it and ****, but def ruins the value of the car down the long stretch. Which is why I'm going to buy another one just to keep around for a show car. The problem is I have too many cars as it is right now lol
