C prepared rules
I don't have a current rulebook. Can anybody tell me if you can run Heim/Heim LCA's and PHB in C-prep for autocross? I've been running Street Mod because I didn't think I was legal for C Prepared (I'm going to get smacked around either way, but at least I can run with "like vehicles").
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: C prepared rules
It looks like they may be changing some of them anyway.... I looked for that information before and it seemed that they only wanted to sell rulebooks instead of help competitors....but that is the way of SCCA.

Re: C prepared rules
I have a rule book.. but don't compete in C Prep so I'm not familiar with the rules. But I run SM and was under the impression that everything that was legal in SM was legal in CP.. and then some.
I was told I was illegal for SM b/c of relocation brakets, but that I would be legal for CP. But the other local SM guys agreed it was fine to run SM.
I have rod/rod LCA's and PHB.
I didn't post at first b/c I don't want to make it sound like I know the definitave answer...

Re: C prepared rules
relocatin brackets are legal to run is SM because the rulebook is refering to the BODY side of the suspention attaching points. those are the ones that cant be modified. relocation brakets are no different than bolting up a 12 bolt rear. the 12 bolt is not the factory attaching point, is it? but it is a leagal swap.
