Default rear sway bar

I have a 2000 a4 that is a "fun" not competitve car. I have bilstein shocks, strano springs, 1le front sway bar, panhard rod, adjustable lca's w/ relocation brackets, and full bolt-ons (in sig) I will be getting some umi 3 point sfc's, and hps pads and I thought about getting a 22 rear sway bar, but some mentioned it might be to much and that I should upgrade the bushings/ endlinks. I figured this was the best place to ask, so anyone who has had experience with it please share some wisdom thanks!

Is it a 22 solid or hollow? I liked the way the ILE front (32 mm hollow) felt with the LT-1 1LE rear (21 solid). Strano's 22 hollow rear has about the same rate as the 21 solid but weights a couple of lbs less. However, it's better balanced with his 35 mm hollow front. Believe it or not, the larger front bar reduces the understeer because it helps keep the car from rolling too far into the "bad" part of the camber curve.

Everyone is different. If you get a 22mm rear bar and it's too much, you can upgrade the front to 35mm to match is. I personally feel a 32/21-22 combo is a bit to stiff in the rear, but not everyone does. I sell my bars individually, so you really lose nothing by trying it (well, except about 5 pounds of unsprung weight if you opt for the hollow bar) and gain about 30% more roll stiffness.

I certainly feel, and it's proven out by the fact that I not only make, but run a 35/22 set of bar that it's a better balanced way of going--especially since you also have my springs. FWIW, I do have the bar sets on special for $429 shipped (which to CA saves you about $20 vs. normal). Individual bars are still charged shipping, the free shipping is only on sets.
