2 Hour track session this thursday

I spent all day yesterday replacing all the stock calipers, master cylinder and have new rotors and pads on the way...
Ported LS3 oil pump and street tires, do I still need to worry about oiling issues on my LS1 block?? Its putting down 444rwhp stock oil pan, full suspension and although Im not Lou Gigliotti, I have enough track time there in other cars to drive it pretty hard..
Any suggestions about what oil to use and how much to over fill it would be great. The car has never ran hot on 105 degree auto-x events, but this is a different story.
Thanks guys, and wish me luck!
Bed those new pads and rotors well. Check for leaks after the very first event.
Add an extra Qt of engine oil and check it very often. You very well could use a quart in a 30 minute session. Lots of high RPM and then long decel stretches.
Assuming CCW ... don't cut too close to the curbing at T7. I bent a rim and knuckle hitting the hole that is on the front side of the burbing.
Not sure what gears you have, but with 3.73s, I wring 4th gear out my little 250 horse LT1 in several places.
Take video and report back.
Good luck.
Ill have two go-pros on the car and hoping for some video camera footage from the tower stand by a friend. Yep im expecting 140mph+ on the back straight with the power im making... *nervous*
I think they fixed that hole too, i know what your talking about and didnt see it at the last event I was at.. or maybe i just didnt hit it

I think this was the last time I was at MSRH in 2009 ...

You were correct mitchntx, I had to add close to 2 quarts of oil over the course of what was close to an hour and a half total track time. Power steering held up but did leak a little, nothing new it happens in auto-x too.
Couldnt have had more fun, drove the car there, put down a 1:52.539 then drove it home in one piece

I believe I was doing close to 125 on the back straight, I saw 115 on my first few laps, but got MUCH faster throughout the day.
I saw that my oil pressure was dropping probably due to the temperature. It is normally 40psi but got all the way down to 20... is this normal? I have 15W-40 in it, would running something else help keep the pressure higher, or should I check into an oil cooler?
Water temp only climbed 10-15 degrees more than normal, just drove easy for half a lap and it was back to normal.
Brakes were awesome! Hawk HP-10's front and rear, never faded, even slowing down this full weight DD
