LS ??? m3.
Just pulled the motor out of my older m3. It is a dedicated track car. Looking to put in an LS motor. However, I am VERY new to the american v8 and need some advice.
At this point I have narrowed it down to two options...... ls6 / m12 t56 or ls2 / t56. I have been told by some corvette guys that the ls6 is FAR superior to the ls2 for a road race car due to oiling. Any truth to this????
I do plan on a baffeled pan w/ a 3qt. accusump. I do not want to dry sump it.
I am accustomed to a motor that has low torque but spins to 8200.
any advice greatly appreciated. cheers, jason
