Engine/trans built to last 3100 miles before a rebuild
All other parts built to last 6200 miles before rebuild.
Cost $245k
Sounds like a good deal in comparison to a GT3 or Audi or M3 race car.
The Reiter Camaro is in the FIA homologation process, and will soon be racing. Reiter already has its first customer, YACO Racing, who will be running the car in the ADAC GT masters series in Germany. Reiter will build 20 cars per year and they will cost roughly $260,000. American muscle and thunder are a novelty in Europe where small displacement, dual overhead cams and four valves per cylinder dominate the race car scene. Based on the success of the Katech Motorsports powered GT1 corvettes in Europe, Reiter and Katech Motorsports are sure this Camaro will be a hit with the European fans and race teams.
