Cheap Camera/Mount Example Vid

The only real con is that you need to rotate the video 180* using a computer (if you use the exact mounting method I used), but Youtube or a computer with Windows Movie Maker or another basic movie editing program can rotate the video. I saw somebody with a C4 Vette at the same event that had a similar Flip camera mounted to a suction cup mount on the exterior of the car.
Details of the mount are here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...era-mount.html
Example video (check out those slaloms.....). I separated the mirror from the arm, so it was just the arm & camera mounted to the windshield mirror mount.

The camera used for this was a first generation Flip Mino HD, which can be found for around $50 on Craigslist. The newer Flip Ultra HD shoots in 60FPS which means it produces a much clearer video than the version I used. Wide angle lens conversions can also be done if necessary:

One day I'll see about doing a side-by-side test with a GoPro to compare.
