Hi,

I came across some old videos the other day from some late 90's Motorola Cup racing which featured amongst other cars, very dominating LS1 Firebirds.

They were always either winning or contenders to win. There were a few Camaros too, but they were upper midpack at best.

My questions is this: Have the late 4th gen Camaros been competitive/victorious in any official, street-based racing? If so, does anyone have pics or video?

In Grand Am Continental Tire it seems the Camaro's are competitive yet they were third in manufact. points behind Porsche and BMW and just ahead of the Ford Mustang's.
