We'll see how good that thing is in the snow this weekend.

It did great in the snowstorm. It waited very patiently in the trailer for me to return.

I ran a best of 2:04.4 in R1 Saturday and a best of 1:44.4 today in R3. Chicken! It sucked, but I'm glad I did it.

Next time take it to RMCR. They tend not to blow up customer cars. They gave me a helluva deal and they're super chill.

RMCR? The engine tune is good, I think. No problems there, yet.

Still working on the suspension set up. It got better throughout the week end, but still a bit of oversteer on corner exit. Suspension tweeks made that better as the day went on. Tire temps are close, but not where I want them. The car handles really well. Not as fast of the Cobra, of course, but it handles better. I did a few 1:46 laps.

I think it will take me most of the season to get the suspension where it needs to be. Then I can start working on more power.

Rocky Mountain Competitive Research. Did you request that dyno pull stop so soon? Looks like it hadn't even peaked yet. My stock LS6 Rev limit was 6600, you can safely go higher than that and it's a waste of a cam if you don't. The only liability that I'm aware of North of 6500 is that the oil pump starts to cavitate. Not sure if a ported TSP LS6 pump is enough but the Mellings seem to do the trick.

Yeah, I told them to stop it about there. No sense beating up the equipment just yet. The HP curve was just starting to flatten out; peak looks like it's right about 6,000. But you can see the torque curve started to fall off already.

IIRC, I did use a Melling pump. I considered the ported LS6 pump. But I'v been using Melling for so many years with good results, that I just decided to continue that trend.
