I went to the Optima event in Bowling Green at the National Corvette Museum last weekend and had a great time there, met a bunch of new folks and had a great time on autocross and the West circuit of motorsports park, even tho it was wet. Saturday was great weather for the autocross and D&E, Sunday was not the same story... It started raining right after the drivers meeting and then was on and off for a while until early afternoon where it was definitely on...
Thanks for the update too. I was wondering what the impact of the rain was. Just noticed this post. Looks like not much interest in road course stuff on this forum...

I participated in NOLA back in April (my only event this year). Was my first USCA experience. Loved it. Already planning mods for next year. Oh and saving $$ for said mods.
