Autocross FTD first time for me! Do 4th Gens still have what it takes? Hell yeah! I finally, after 16 years autocrossing, I got Fastest Time Of Day! I've been close a few times before several years ago. I've had fastest PAX last year, but FTD is what I really want.
Our region runs on a nearly unused airstrip. Poor grip on the first taxi way, good grip the rest of the way. I was also course designer, so I had a tiny leg up, but no one got lost so it wasn't a big deal. The main slalom is 80 footer, top of 2nd for sure. I run in ESP, and have all the good bits. My main competition, in XP class, is a Factory Five GTM car without any interior or paint or windsheild, and a FF Daytona Coupe with 4.11's, 335 tires, and a pretty good driver. I had brand new Hoosiers, which surely helped a bit.
The course was: start into slalom on the low grip area, turn up to the runway, shoot down to the slalom, slalom, shoot over to the other side, hard right, down corridor to little turn around, back to corridor, right to end of runway, back to corridor, shoot past the circle to a little jink into las lane change.
I cone'd on a couple runs. The Daytona coned also; his raw time was a little faster, but rules are rules. Very happy and hope to FTD a few more times!!

Good Job! I run in my 2ng gen TA most of the time because that has been set up for it but, I use my 2002 Firehawk with M6 every once in a while and it's a blast! Pretty fast for wearing hwy tires too!
