LCA Problem??
I've been noticing a new problem lately. When I'm turning corners and applying power my car tends to want to spin the inside tire more than it used to. Initially, I thought my LSD is going bad, but it occured to me that the cause might be my BMR lower control arms. Plus, traction is bad on cold streets this time of year.
So here's my theory;
BMR rubber/poly control arms are limiting the axle movement acting like a heavy sway bar and lifting the inside tire more in corners.
My LSD might be slipping more than it should too.
My 315 rear tires aren't helping the situation.
What do you think?
I may try putting the stock LCA's back on for a while.
My suspension mods are as follows:
BMR poly/poly APHR
BMR rubber/poly LCAs
LCA lowering brackets
Prokit springs w/stock deCarbons
ZR1 wheels 11" rear w/315 tires

Re: LCA Problem??
maybe the shock on that tire is going bad, the lower control arms i thought were mainly for straight line acceleration, but i could be wrong. i would also try re-greasing everything and see if that helps.

Re: LCA Problem??
There are 2 problems here. 1: the LSD is gone, take it out, and put in a torsen, putting in another LSD will soon fail just like the one in the car now has. 2: the LCAs are not allowing the rear end to stay flat on the track through a corner. This can be fixed by using an adj./poly LCA.
The 315s are doing nothing but help your situation, ao leave those on there. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />
