How much negative camber?
How much negative camber? Hey all,
My SS will be at LG for a 6 point install in a couple weeks, and I also wanted them to throw on a strut tower brace and do a track ready assessment of the car (what do I need for this years 10 or so track days). They mentioned that I really should run the aftermarket A-arms they sell. I seemed to recall that on these cars folks have been getting 1+ degree of negative camber. True?
I really dont want this car to push like a pig, and Im not going to loosen up a rear to bring the rear around. Id rather fix the front.

Re: How much negative camber? Chris, I will be doing the cage in your car so that you know. As for the camber, I run no more than 1.5* on a Road course. I have the a-arms, and achieve that with no problems. Feel free to drop me a line personally to discuss these matters if you like. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Im still working on getting the wife to let me add in $800 for the a-arms installed. Im not sure if its going to happen in time. As for the cage, the car is still at MTI, since Agostino had the wrong address to send the heads to. Hopefully everything will be good to go now. I just hope we can get it on the books for this month. Sorry about the delay. Make sure to get that main hoop as high in the car as possible (Im too tall and I love my rear-view mirror :-P
