Stock Z-28 to ESP
I have a stock (F Stock) 98 Z-28 I want to run in ESP plus time trials this year. This is also my year-round daily driver in the Northeast. So far I have installed:
K&B in stock airbox
Cold Air Conversion
1 LE front bar with poly bushings
SS Cat back exhaust
Bilstein custom valved shocks (by Strano)
265-45-16 Kumho V700 on stock rims
I am thinking of adding:
Front Strut bar (suggestions?)
OEM sub frame connector from a convertable (if it complies with the rules)
Torsen differential from an SS
Boxed rear lower arms and panhard (if I can determine they were used on the SLP -SS model)
Any other ideas? Springs will be later (maybe) and possibly a roll bar so I can mount my 5 point harness correctly.

Re: Stock Z-28 to ESP
SFCs aren't legal in ESP, they move you up a class. As for the control arms, make sure you don't get poly/poly, as these will bind and hurt handling. The other stuff looks good ... have you considered your rear sway bar?
How did you fare in FS?

The very first thing you should do is ditch the stock wheels and 265's. The whole point of moving up to ESP is to run bigger wheels and tires. I recomend 17x11's and 315's at all 4 corners. Yes they do fit, but for only for autoxing. Also, I didn't know that roll bars were ESP legal?

I haven't tried it myself, but I was told that the "grand sport" offset is correct for all 4 wheels.
