"abs inop" light came on during lapping day ?
I was doing some lapping today at PR. It was raining so I wasn't pushing it to hard. After about 1/2 hour of non-stop running, me and a TT 300ZX started to pick up the pace a bit. At the end of the long straight (T2) on one of my laps, my rear wheels locked up on me, it was wet and slick and I was going about 110 mph so it was a bit "uncomfortable" for a couple of moments After this my "abs inop" light, and my "Brake" light both came on and stayed on for a whole lap. I used this lap as my cool down lap since I didn't know what was wrong. I pulled into the pits with the lights still on, I shut down and then restarted the engine and both lights were gone.
My question is this, I've gotten my brakes hot before and had the pedal go almost to the floor on me, but have never triggered any lights. What exactly happened to my brake system and how do I keep it from happening again ? Losing your abs on a wet slick track when your depending on it to be there is more excitement than I need
PS I flushed my system out the night before with Valvoline synthetic brake fluid.
