Sway Bar Question???
If you really want the 24 mm rear get it by all means, but just give Strano or LG Motorsports a call. I think you will be happy with either of their recommendations. They do differ a bit on their set-ups though. Just two different ways of getting to the same spot. Also a difference between AutoX and RRing.

I always thought that if you increase the front bar, you would need to run a larger rear to keep the understeer away.

This will increase understeer. Think of your front sway bar as decreasing traction at the front. Larger rear tires will increase traction at the rear. This means you will push the front end thru a turn. If you have a larger front bar you will need narrower rear tires to null out understeer.
