17x11 on front

What offset 17x11 wheel (ZR1/SS style)will fit on the front of my 99 Firebird? 50 or 36mm? will I still need a spacer?

I have a 50mm offset and run 1/4" spacer to get the wheel away from the spindle.

Also, you will probably need to grind off the little **** on the spindle face.

And, on my TA, I have no inner fender rub. I was surprised ...

Thanks Mitch. I had another list member reply to me privatly with the same info earlier today.

The reason I was asking is due to a deal I found on 4 OEM ZR1 17x11's. The problem maybe the offset. I have also read that the front fenders of a firebird are ~20mm wider then a Camaro and the ZR1's will fit better on the firebird (?)

Does anyone know if the fender theory is true and the 36mm offset wheels will fit on the front of a Firebird?
