Silver State Classic Challenge
Silver State Classic Challenge Anyone entering in this year? i think i am going to enter the "Touring Class". its September 18-22 on highway 318 in Nevada.

I ran that race in May '02. It was alot of fun 
All the big dogs have boycotted it now because of safety issues and are instead going to only run the "other" ORR events such as MKM's events. I ran one of these last June, the PE130 and MKM puts on a better race IMO.

Lack of full course communications, people coming off the road at high speed and no one realising it till after the race, etc etc etc.
If you want to make a fun ORR run seriously consider the MKM events. THere are a group of us from the NW that are going to try and make the August PE 130.
