Just curious for the few of you who do roadcourse racing, what kinds of temperatures are you seeing for your oil, tranny, and brakes?? If you have any info, that would be great. I'm just trying to get an idea for the range I should be in so I can keep an eye on them when i'm out next.

I have seen 310 before coolers and the 220 after oil cooler as you can see the rotors get hot. Way over the 750 the temp gun goes to.

20 minute session in my GTO got me 275 oil sump temp, as measured with a k-type thermocouple fit through the drain plug. Run 1 quart high on oil, run full synthetic, and get nervous only over 320 F. It was a 60-65 degree day.

I did not measure trans temps last time I was out. Car is still under warranty, so I think I can claim 1 rebuild until they start asking questions.. Lease cars are great...

If your rotors are glowing, you are at 1400+ F.
