The stock radiator in my 1.6L Honda CRX Si is bigger than my stock Corvette radiator! I guess it's good enough, but I installed a Ron Davis radiator with integrated oil cooler. When I autocross, I reprogram the fans to turn on earlier.

i actually wanted to get a smaller radiator, i'm trying to free up some room under the hood of the vette or maybe going with two smaller ones plumed in parrallel to make about an 10" opening in the middle.

Huh??? I don't understand your goal. If you want more space up top, you can lay the radiator down. Basically, cut the bottom mounts off and weld&rivet them in a forward location. You'll need a new radiator hose, and the shroud will need modification. If you don't want to do it yourself, take your car up to A&A...Andy does this all the time for his supercharger kits.
