Default ABS on the roadcourse

I'm having ABS INOP issues with this new Moser 9" I just had installed (rear ABS sensors aren't working properly right now).
What role does ABS have on the roadcourse? Are you guys running with or without it? Pardon the novice question.

It looks like I'm gonna go with the SJM ABS delete kit sometime in the near future.

If you use the delete block, make sure to add a proportioning valve for the rear. The ABS unit handles brake proportioning.

The SJM kit comes with a proportioning valve, doesn't it? The SJM product looks pretty nice, I'm looking to purchase a line lock either way... another 80 bucks or so would definately be worth !ABS. Especially since my new rear isn't set up for ABS. It would be nice if their kit is pretty much plug and play.

Anyone have experience with SJM, specifically the ABS delete? SouthFl.02.SS, I saw where you had ordered the kit... have you had a chance to install it yet? I did a search but didn't find many results with reviews on it.

I just had the SJM !ABS kit installed this week. It works great.
I opened the box and saw all the brake lines and told myself "no way" (I had intended to do the install myself).
The instructions were very clear. The shop installer told me the kit was a little difficult to piece together, as he had to do some alteration to some fittings and some lines. I have no idea the extent of what he did, but I can definately tell you, I'm glad I did not install it.
Before the kit, the brake pedal would pulse (rear ABS sensors were not functioning properly) and the brakes were definately not hauling the car to a stop properly.
Post install, the brake pedal works smoothly. Braking is fluid and strong again.

I was hoping to be able to install it myself, but I'm not very experienced with brake systems What type of shop did you take the car for the work to be done? Some places may have a problem with removing ABS from a late model car around here.

Lastly, how many hours labor did they charge ya for the install? You can PM or E-mail me with the info if you'd rather Thanks!

I took it to a local performance shop that does both imports and domestics (but mostly imports). They had lots of labor billed to rear sway bar end link tab retrofit and grinding down the 9" tq arm bracket for a BMR sway bar to clear (I had the BMR Extreme sway bar yanked in favor of a smaller one). The !ABS was not itemized, so I'm not sure how much they charged me for it.
