how to get into professional racing i was wondering if anyone knew how to get in to professional road racing into the camaro class.
ive looked just about everywhere and i cant seem to find it.
if anyone can help just let me know.

I don't think you'll see too many 5 year old F-bods still in high profile professional ranks.
I saw one in this year's Grand Am opener at Daytona, but for the most part, it's not too common of a plaftorm to find still being campaigned anymore anymore in the front-running series'.
Anyhow, you can look and see where the F-bod is classed in SCCA and NASA events. It's still a popular plaftorm on a grassroots level.

How does one make a small fortune in auto racing?

Big scale racing ... the ones that actually money ... have restrictions on year model cars used in the series.

When you figure that out let me in on the secret 
You probably wont see any camaro's in the pro ranks (world challenge and Grand AM) till 2010 or so. Thats only if GM follows through on building the camaro.
Check out your local SCCA do some autcrossing, do some HPDE events, take some driving classes, drive, drive, drive. and spend spend spend.

Look up NASA. They are easier (cheaper) to go racing with. They have a camaro-mustang-challenge series and american-iron that you could run in. But first you have to get your Competition licence whereever you go. That means HPDE events and racing school. I you really good you might graduate in 5-6 months (events) Anyway you want to have the experiance before you go out wheel to wheel.
