What about OEM C5 Z06 wheels? They're fairly light and you should be able to get a pair fairly cheap if you watch the vette forums.

yeah, a lot of people pick up an extra set of stock wheels. The OEM wheels are pretty light compared to the aftermarket OE knockoffs. Other than that you start getting into CCW's Forgelines, and Fikse's.

Yea, i am pretty sure that the stock zo6 wheels (C5) are magnesium. Make sure that you don't get the replica wheels, they won't be magnesium

The 01 Z06 wheels is a forged aluminum wheel, while the 02-04 Z06 wheel is a spun cast wheel. There was a magnesium wheel for the C5, it was a 5 spoke wheel with a goldish finish to it tho and GM no longer makes it.
