Default autox wheels?

looking to get new wheels for autocrossing.

the class will be ESP, so any size is ok.

i'm thinking about 17x9 zr1's or 10 spokes.

does anyone know of lightweight wheels in this size to save weight?

is anyone running 17x11's in the rear? how much trouble is it to make them fit??

thanks
tony

go with the same size and backspacingall around, be it 17/9 or 17/11(yes they will fit up front). u want to be able to rotate tires.

and FRRAX is ur answer to everything(but do searches, theirs works)

All the fast people are running 17x11's all the way around. They will fit, but technically you can't pound your inter fenders in ESP, so be very careful when choosing your offset.

CCW will make you a set of lightweight 17x11's, but they won't be cheap. Unless your car is prepared to the limit of the rules and you are driving it at a national caliber level, light weight wheels are a bit of a waste (due to the cost). A set of cheap 17x11 ZR1 knock offs are under $500. Run those until you think the wheels are holding you back; then you can sell them for at least $350 and upgrade to light weight custom wheels.
