TNT Question...Tint & Track...

Does anyone have a limo tinted car that they track? If so, how's the visibility?

Is limo tint (5%) even allowed on track? I'm not sure.

It's so damn hot down here and almost always (bright & sunny) so was contemplating a darker tint.

arent your windows normally down during track day events anyway?

Every track event I have ever run requires the front windows be down if you are on track, rain or shine. If you mean the rear glass, I wouldn't expect that to be too much of a problem.

Yes I'm aware of the windows being down. This was directed mainly at the rear window visibility due to 5% tint.

I couldn't find anything in the NASA CCRs about tinted windows, only that the front windows need to be in the down position (sec 6.2, page 31). Here's a link to the CCRs themself - http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/ccr.pdf

I raced a few different cars with 5% rear and they were fine.

Wasn't it a Lambo slogan that said "whats behind you doesn't matter" or "whats behind you is losing" or something like that?
