Default Classifieds?

Where are the stickies we used to have explaining the rules of the Classified section? I don't see them anywhere. I've found lately many users posting multiple threads for one item each and it is really cluttering up the section. I thought there was a rule for discouraging this type of thing (or a least some moderators paying attention) but I can't find the rules and regulations to save my life. Any help here?

Well there is still a sticky in the non-automotive classified sections. Not sure if that helps you or not. Direct post link --> https://ls1tech.com/forums/non-autom...-3-6-09-a.html

The problem with holding people to the old rule of only one thread per user, is that it does not work with the new search. Nor does it fit any of the required parameters for starting a new thread. There is no provision to list multiple types of items that will show up in the search.

IB apparently does not want to make everyone condense their threads because that doesn't work with the new system. We cannot have it both ways, regardless of how many "moderator's are paying attention". It is hard to impose a rule that doesn't work.

As for the stickies disappearing, that was another side effect of the classifieds changeover. It has been asked about repeatedly and you see how it still is today... the stickies are technically still there, just not in the normal visible path for users. (See the link in my sig for the original classifieds sticky)
